Marmitegate Could Destroy the BNP
A solicitor who worked on the Marmitegate case has revealed that the true cost to the British National Party wasn’t £70,000, but £168,000.
“Speaking as somebody who has had a great deal of involvement in this case from a legal standpoint, I can confirm to you all that the rumoured settlement by Nicholas Griffin and the British National Party is not £70,000. If this figure is multiplied by a factor of 2.4 then you have the true settlement figure, as the agreement was inclusive of trademark violation and court costs.
I hope that this information helps.

This cost is the equivalent of 5666 standard membership subscriptions. This also cancels out the party’s entire membership renewal revenue for one year.
Quite how the party is going to pay this amount of money is unknown. Especially when the party finances at present seem unable to meet staff wages.
And guess what? This was also Jim Dowson’s idea. The man who is paid huge amounts of money to improve the party’s financial situation. The man who controls almost every aspect of the BNP.
The man who Mr Griffin is ultimately responsible for.
