The BNP supporting Youtuber known as UKgovsucks has recently uploaded a video regarding the English Defence League’s new association with the British Freedom Party. 

In this video, UKgovsucks all but suggests that the EDL should have joined up with the BNP. As pointed out by the EDL Angel Erin Conner, this was not just impossible because of the practical realities, but because of the ideological conflict amongst the traditionally racial-nationalist BNP and the cultural nationalists of the EDL.

Let’s not forget that it was Nick Griffin who called the EDL a ‘state operation’ and declared them a proscribed organisation. Which means that any BNP member who joined the EDL openly, risked being expelled from the party. 

I have highlighted a few points raised by UKgovsucks in his video. Beneath each point or question I have given a response.

Why does Britian need another nationalist party, when we’ve got the BNP? 

The BNP is all but finished. It is no longer feared by the establishment, it is no longer a small and dangerous political party, it is merely small. When a small party loses its ability to send the elite parties into fits of hysteria, it becomes irrelevant. Irrelevance is the death knell for a radical nationalist party.

But why do I say that the BNP is finished? Take a look for yourself:

The BNP has lost 10,000 members in the space of 18 months.

It has lost more than 50 elected councillors.

It has lost its seat on the Greater London Assembly.

It will lose both Members of the European Parliament in 2012.

It has lost most of its branches.

It is estimated that around 60,000 nationalists have passed through the party’s membership conveyor belt and become disillusioned.

It has over £500,ooo of debt due to financial incompetence and Nick Griffin’s court cases.

Its leader is so internationally reviled that even if it were to shed that leader, its brand image will be forever associated with him.

It has disposed of more of its talented officers than any British Nationalist party in our political history.

The party is well and truly over.

The EHRC with the backing of the government failed with its court cases against the BNP.

I’m sorry, but this is absolute nonsense*. This is another example of poor BNPspin-doctoring directed at its own membership to prevent a “peasants’ revolt”.

There was absolutely no need to go to court against the EHRC, the whole fiasco could have been avoided had Mr Griffin amended the party constitution, something he did in court anyway – it took minutes.

The fact is, fighting the EHRC court case turned into a campaign to raise funds for central party, rather than any genuine legal resistance to the demanded constitutional amendments. The state is attacking us through the courts! DONATE NOW!

The result was that the BNP was forced to amend its constitution and forced to

pay out large sums in legal costs.

*Central party claimed that because the BNP wasn’t forced to pay the EHRC’s court costs, this was somehow a legal victory.

Wont the British Freedom Party get called the same names as the BNP? 

We are a nationalist party, therefore the anti-nationalist and internationalist ‘political elite’ will smear us with the usual tags – fascists, etc. However, and this is a massive advantage that we have, our leader’s political history doesn’t lendcredence to these claims.

The BNP’s constitutional monarch has a bullseye the size of China painted on his backside. You can throw almost any stereotypical insult used against nationalists and you can’t fail to hit that bullseye, because Griffin has done and said most of the things that the political claim he has.

You can say: “I’m not a Nazi-admirer, I don’t want to murder immigrants in boats.”

And they’ll say: “But you belong to a party that has a leader who espoused those views. Therefore that is the party’s stance.”

Bullseye. Boom. Busted. Owned!

Tommy Robinson is in effect saying you must follow a nationalist agenda with the British Freedom Party. 

Tommy Robinson is saying nothing of the sort. It is the view of the EDL leadership that the British Freedom Party, with its extensive anti-jihad contacts across the globe, is a suitable party to ally with.

There is absolutely no obligation for you to join British Freedom, nobody can force you to vote for us. In fact, this reveals your low opinion of the EDL folk if you believe they can be swayed by being told ‘they must’ do something.

It is a freedom in this country to vote for whoever you want.

The government benefits because the BFP will split the nationalist vote. 

As explained above, there will soon be no BNP candidates to stand against and ‘split the vote’. Even so, it is quite presumptuous of you to assume that the ‘nationalist vote’ is synonymous with the BNP vote.

Anyhow, we have always maintained that we would try to avoid standing against EU withdrawalist nationalist candidates.

I know some EDL supporters who don’t think this the affiliation is a good idea.  

Correction. You know some BNP/UKIP members & supporters that don’t think this is a good idea, having harboured wet-dreams of an alliance between their own parties and the EDL*.  They are ignorant of the wider nationalist landscape; it’s competing ideologies and its behind-closed-doors negotiations.

What I’m trying to say here, is that nobody with an in-depth perspective of the nationalist movement expected the EDL to ally with either of these parties.
And we were right.

*UKIP would never have allied with the EDL. Their leadership completely rejected the idea out of hand.

I support all patriotic parties, but I will only ever vote for the BNP!

I recommend that you start shopping around for a new political home, because the time is upon us when you will find that you simply can’t vote for the BNP, because they don’t have any candidates, because they’re a hollow shell, because it is a zombie ship steering for the very rocks which wrecked the National Front before it – with the very same people at the helm.
